Official Russell County criminal records come from the government office that created or maintains them. Court files are handled by the Circuit Clerk in Phenix City, while arrest reports, jail records, police reports, Alabama criminal history, and registry information follow different channels. This Is Not a Government Office. Russell County Criminal History is privately operated. It cannot obtain official records, correct a government file, perform an official record review, or accept an Alabama expungement petition.

The sheriff does not publish a dedicated records form, copy fee, or records-counter schedule. Call 334-298-6535 before sending a request. Court copies use the Circuit Clerk's separate process and should not be sent to the sheriff. All listed local hours are Eastern Time.
